November 2020 Newsletter

I just wanted to write to give an update on the progress of the ministry so far. November has been intense for me spiritually, physically, my current job, and in other ways which leads it to be 11/29 and my newsletter being posted. I know the timing is always for a purpose even if I can’t always see it at first. I am currently speaking with someone about a property that could be a wonderful location for where the women staying with us would live. We are looking for a 3 bedroom home to rent/lease in order to house the women. If you have any leads please don’t hesitate to contact me. Please continue to pray that the Lord would open the doors to the place He wants us in and rebuke every opposition that would try to stand in the way.

I know the Lord is using this time to prepare me and continue to teach me what I need to know in order to fully depend on Him and fulfill the purpose He has given me with this ministry. I have had multiple reasons to stop but I know the Lord has called me and I want what the Lord wants and I trust He will bring things together for His good. The opposition is strong right now but the Lord is faithful and I’m clinging to Him.

We are still in need of monetary and non-monetary donations, any amount is a blessing and provides for the women who would be staying with us. A lot of these women could possibly be homeless upon coming in so may need quite a bit. We need money to open and operate, which is why we need you. Please seek the Lord on how He could use you in this ministry that could be the safe haven so many are looking for that points them to the ultimate Safe Haven. We are also in need of housing necessities which you can find listed over on the website. We now also have an easier way to donate: through PayPal at freedomministriessafehaven@gmail.com. We are still accepting Zelle Quickpay at 337-326-0294 and checks made out to Freedom Ministries-Safe Haven or you can send them to me personally if you feel more comfortable through Venmo or Cash App, just message me for handles.

I’m also asking for prayers for me during this whole process that the Lord will continue to reveal His will for this ministry, every detail, and for me and that He will provide and open doors. For the women who will be with us, pray they find their way to us and that the Lord would soften their hearts to hear the Lord. That He gives me the strength and understanding I need that I know only He can give in order to stand in this calling.
